Sterling Stevens 
Founder and Certified Personal Trainer

Sterling Stevens founded PROform Fitness in 2013 with a commitment to helping people build long-term strength, confidence and vitality as they age. His work is deeply rooted in his own journey. Growing up tall and extremely thin, Sterling struggled with body-image insecurities from a young age. Constant comments about his appearance left him feeling uncomfortable in his own skin and motivated him to create meaningful change—not just to look different, but to feel strong, capable and proud of his body.

In his early adulthood, Sterling also faced a difficult battle with addiction. With the support of his family and a profound personal determination to reclaim his life, he chose to fight for his health and well-being. That turning point reshaped everything. As he worked to rebuild his mental and physical health, strength training became a source of grounding, healing and direction. It’s where he found purpose—and where he learned firsthand how transformative the combination of discipline, mindset and support can be.

These experiences shaped the heart of PROform Fitness. Sterling understands what it feels like to start from a place of challenge, and he knows the courage it takes to begin again. That’s why he’s committed to creating a training environment that is supportive, judgment-free and built around real, sustainable progress.

Now based in Langford, BC and operating out of his home studio, Sterling focuses on personalized, science-backed training programs that fit into real, busy lives. His approach centres on efficiency, proper form and consistency—helping clients get the most out of every session without gimmicks, overwhelm or unrealistic expectations.

For over a decade, Sterling has helped people move with confidence, slow the effects of aging and feel stronger in all aspects of life. His goal is simple: to support you in becoming the healthiest, most capable version of yourself—physically, mentally and emotionally—so you can keep doing what matters most.
